Pinar Yazgan (BA, MA, PhD) is affiliated with Mobility Research Centre (MoRe) at IBS. She is an associate Professor at Sakarya University, Turkey. She is currently doing her post-doctoral project on migration researchers with migration background and their positioning and reflexivity in the MoRe, funded by TUBITAK (Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey). Her recent interest focuses on the mind, reflexivity, subjectivity and social neuroscience as a research tool with a specific interest in mobility and security.  She has published two books, contributed book chapters and authored articles for academic journals. Throughout the years, she has participated in several projects on refugees as a senior researcher.
