
Professor Marc Oliver Opresnik is a global marketing scholar, executive educator, and academic entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in higher education and leadership across Europe and Asia. He is Distinguished Professor of Marketing and Management at the Technical University of Lübeck and Honorary Professor at the New Delhi Institute of Management. Founder of PIVOTAL Thinking and creator of the PIVOTAL Infinity Marketing Canvas®, he helps organisations drive purpose-driven innovation and growth. Professor Opresnik serves on the Board of SGMI Management Institute St. Gallen and is a Global Thought Leader with the LSE Academic Speakers Bureau. He co-authored leading marketing textbooks, including Marketing: An Introduction and Marketing Management with Philip Kotler and Kevin Keller, and recently published PIVOTAL Strategy: The Infinity Marketing Canvas® and Framework with Kotler and Svend Hollensen. Before academia, he held management roles at Shell International. Today, he advises governments and corporations worldwide on marketing, innovation, and leadership, and speaks at TEDx and global conferences in over 30 countries.
