Master’s and MBA Opportunities in the UK for Ege University Students
A new Cooperation Agreement has been signed between Ege University in Turkey and the International Business School (IBS), UK. The initiative was spearheaded by the Department of Textile Engineering at Ege University.
The signing ceremony took place at the Ege University Senate Hall, attended by Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. İlkin Şengün, IBS Director Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Sirkeci, and representatives from both institutions. The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. İlkin Şengün and on behalf of IBS Dean Prof. Jonathan Liu, by IBS Director Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Sirkeci.
Highlighting the university’s commitment to internationalisation, Prof. Dr. İlkin Şengün stated:
“Under this agreement, Ege University postgraduate students will be able to enrol in IBS’s Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership programme, gaining the opportunity to earn a Postgraduate degree in the UK. IBS will provide a 25% tuition fee scholarship for Ege University students, as well as additional scholarships for high-achieving students. Graduates will also have the chance to pursue a second dissertation through IBS partner universities (e.g., University of Central Lancashire or Anglia Ruskin University) and obtain an MBA degree in the UK.”
Prof. Dr. Şengün further emphasised that the agreement is not limited to students:
“This collaboration also covers faculty and researcher exchange, joint research projects, academic publications, data sharing, and administrative staff mobility, laying the foundation for a strong academic and cultural partnership between the two institutions. Through this agreement, Ege University will further strengthen its international cooperation network.”
